St Leo’s continues to do you proud

Not so long ago St Leo’s was a broken-down school that needed floors roofs and windows replaced. There were also no proper toilets.

Now – thanks to your support – the school is the pride of the Emolweni area. Inspectors from the Department of Education advise other schools to visit St Leo’s to see what they should  be aspiring to. Teaching is of a high standard and the ethos of the school thoroughly Catholic.

Add to this  the fact that you also helped to build the new St. Leo’s church for the community and you have every reason to feel a huge sense of pride – one that matches the people’s huge sense of gratitude.

All that’s missing now is to provide for Emolweni’s tiny tots. There is a site for a preschool but not yet a building.

The  children who benefit from this school and church will be equipped for a brighter future – their own and their country’s.
