I know the valley is there but early morning when the mist is rising I can’t see it – just like God.

I know that one day when the mist of this life clears I will see Him face to face and understand.

Now I cannot hope to make sense of everything. I just trust that making the best of what I have holding tight to my faith even when the mists are thick the sun will rise and I will one day walk confidently through the valley to Light and Love.

The Lord is my shepherd;
there is nothing I lack.
In green pastures you let me graze;
to safe waters you lead me;
you restore my strength.

You guide me along the right path
for the sake of your name.
Even when I walk through a dark valley
I fear no harm for you are at my side;
your rod and staff give me courage.
